Humpbacks in Tonga Program
After a tumultuous couple of years, in early August 2022 The Kingdom of Tonga announced the opening of its borders tosome international arrivals, with limited numbers of inbound flights scheduled to the capital Nuku’alofa, and very limited domestic flight arrangements and capacity.
Much of the inbound capacity has been best served bringing home Tongan citizens that have been unable to return home since early 2020, including thousands of season workers who were stranded in Australia and New Zealand, away from their families for the past few years. While some limited individual travellers have made their way to the country, a return to scheduled inbound tourism programs under the current circumstances has not been considered viable.
Our 2023 Humpbacks in Tonga program dates are listed below, and we are currently working on the finer details with our local operators.

Your Whales Underwater adventure includes:
• All on-water and off-water activities, boat trips, etc as specified in the itinerary
• Expert, personalised photography, tuition, and education
• Workshops and Supervised Creative Lab time
• Airport transfers in Vava’u (on tour start and end dates only)
• Twin-share or double accommodation as per itinerary
• Meals from dinner on arrival day to breakfast on departure day (Sundays an exception, breakfast and dinner only)
